HSE Consultants has a Level 4 BEE Certificate.

LEARNING PROGRAMMES

Our personnel are thoroughly trained in the variety of learning programmes we offer and are NOT permitted to provide training to learners on programmes we or they are not completely accustomed to. Every Assessor is specifically selected and matched to a particular learning programme according to their subject matter expertise, training and scope of accreditation.

OTHER SERVICES

TRAINING INTERVENTIONS

• We try to keep our classes small so that we can give individual attention to all our learners. We are a quality driven organisation that prides itself in delivering excellent service to our Client and Learners. Essentially there are two kinds of training interventions offered at HSE Consultants
• Recertification Training Programmes
• Novice Training Programmes

RECERTIFICATION TRAINING

• The recertification training programme is for the learner who has previous training and who is a certified operator for the type of machinery they are working with. Certificates of competency are issued for a maximum period of two years and trainees are required to attend refresher training to ensure that their skills and technology are always sharp, kept up-to-date and it also helps in eliminating complacency from the workplace.
• A learner would start out their day around 08h00 and attend a theoretical, safety orientated, training session with a subsequent theory assessment. This should take around four hours to complete. Once assessed successful the learner will then attend a practical training session which is followed by a practical assessment. The practical session last approximately an hour per person with the Assessor giving feedback to the learners afterwards. The day ends at around 16h00.
• Training duration is one day. The ratio of Learners to an Assessor for recertification training is typically but we can adjust quantities so suit our Clients as we have the personnel who can assist with higher number of trainees where necessary.

NOVICE TRAINING

The novice training programme is where new operators begin. Training duration is five days where fifty percent of the time is devoted to theory and the remainder to practical. Learner to Assessor ratio remains at however as mentioned before Client are free to contract us to tailor make a training package more suitable to them.
